Horror Movies and TV Shows on Amazon Prime Video
It's almost the weekend. You're a horror fan, and you want to do nothing but watch a horror movie or TV show.
But opening up an app and scrolling through the numerous options can be overwhelming.
So here are a few TV shows and Movies worth checking out on Amazon Prime Video:
1) Adhura
A bullying incident. Unexplained deaths. A boarding school.
Adhura (Incomplete) is a story about a haunting in a boarding school. There is a reunion planned, and while the former students are expecting a joyous occasion, they instead find themselves trapped in the school and suspected of a crime when one of them dies.
In the midst of all this, there is a current student, a pariah, who becomes possessed by a ghost who is seeking revenge for a bullying incident.
Adhura starts off well, drags for a bit, and has a predictable ending, but the show will still keep you on your toes, and if you love hauntings, this is the show for you.
2) The VVitch
This is probably the movie that cemented Anya Taylor-Joy's place in Hollywood.
The story takes place in 1630, and Anya Taylor-Joy's character, Thomasin, is accused of witchcraft. The movie is more of a historical fiction than a horror, but the ending makes up for the slow pace consistently throughout the movie.

3) Run Sweetheart Run
This is one of those movies that takes several surprising turns; however, the ending may leave you a tad unsatisfied.
The movie starts off well, and the twists will keep you invested in Cherie's story as her date with a dream man turns into a nightmare. Along the way, Cherie realizes she can literally trust no one to save her.
When her date's true identity is revealed, you will wonder at the bizarre turn the story has taken.
An interesting story, nevertheless.

4) Halloween
Now, you will see two options for Halloween when you search for it. You can either watch the 1978 version and relive the nostalgia or watch the 2018 version and see Jamie Lee Curtis, now older, still take down Michael Myers.
Of course, the villain isn’t taken down until the very last Halloween movie, but it is fun to see Laurie Strode still go after Michael Myers.

5) Dark Harvest
A small town, an annual ritual. Nothing good can come out of it. Small towns in horror movies are notorious for using sacrifices in rituals, and Dark Harvest follows the same route...except...there is a twist.
Dark Harvest is an interesting tale that creates an impactful climax.
Recommended for all horror fans for sure.

6) Chhorii
The word means girl, and the title gives away the plot. The story is about a pregnant woman fighting for her life when she is stranded in a small village that doesn't really care much for baby girls.
The movie will make you sit on the edge of your seat and filled with tension as you watch the protagonist navigate through the maze and finally learn the truth.
Yes, there is a twist, and the ending is rewarding.
7) Carrie
Do you want to watch the 1976 version or the 2013.
In my opinion, both do justice to Stephen King's story.
Carrie is supposed to be a timid girl with an overly religious mother. When she is bullied in school, Carrie lets loose her hidden talent to avenge herself.
Carrie is heartbreaking, but it is also a great horror story.

8) Child's Play
The first Chucky movie is available on Prime Video.
Watch how Chucky became the infamous serial killer doll. Poor Andy, a little kid, has no idea what his doll is capable of, and when he does, he is unable to get people to believe him.
Chucky, on the other hand, is having the time of his life using curse words and killing people off.

9) Evil Eye
Do you believe in reincarnation?
If you do, imagine finding out that your abusive ex has been reincarnated and is dating your daughter.
That's what happens to Usha when she meets her daughter Pallavi's boyfriend Sandeep. Usha is convinced Sandeep is none other than the man who tried to kill her years ago, but of course, no one believes her.
Can she get her daughter to believe her and save her life?
The answer is yes.
10) Supernatural
Fifteen seasons, remarkable characters, ghosts, demons, and angels. Supernatural had it all, and it came as no surprise that it lasted for this long.
The protagonists, Sam and Dean, may have died several times, but they always came back, so fans of the show never had to shed a tear when a crazy twist took place.
It was obvious nothing would happen to the two.
Except in the finale.
