Thinking about MH370

A few days ago I wrote about change and how it isn't always the best thing that could happen. My point was directed toward technology especially. Yes, it is convenient and reliable and I can't imagine going even a day without logging on to the internet. It's addicting and has become a safety net for me.

But after hearing the disturbing news of the Malaysian airlines flight, I shudder to think that technology may not be as reliable as I thought. With all the new changes that keep happening and upgrades to systems and whatsoever, I thought that even though I may not be in favor of upgrades to some operating systems (yes iOS 7 which isn't available for my phone!) I imagined it would somehow be better and easier.

A plane just disappeared!

No one knows what happened and why and all that's going on are conspiracy theories. How much longer before countries start blaming each other for it? Passports of at least two passengers were stolen beforehand and they didn't board the plane- this resulted in many thinking of hijack. But experts believe that if it indeed was about hijacking a plane, what did the terrorists want and what's taking them so long to make their demands.
Also, a hijacked plane apparently still shows up on the radar.
A new theory is going on that the pilot may have been suicidal. I hate to believe this. If he even was, was he that selfish to take more than 200 people with him? Also, what of the second pilot? Did he not stop him?
And again, there would have been some indication of a plane going down.

No one saw a plane going down except for one, but his story is yet to be proven accurate. No one can trace a huge plane and friends and families of passengers claim they can hear ringing when they call phones.

In the case of an explosion the phones would have disintegrated, right? It may be wishful thinking but I am really, really hoping the passengers are safe. I have a gut feeling they may be but of course we must prepare ourselves to hear the worst news.

Six days have passed and still no one has found anything. No debris in the waters, nothing. That's some cause for hope since maybe the plane didn't crash.
And if it had crashed on land, it wouldn't have gone without notice.

Another theory- the Bermuda triangle may have moved.

Too many theories, too many days have passed and still no word of the plane or passengers. If there ever was a miracle needed, it's right now.

The Limehouse Golem- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: When Elizabeth's husband is found dead, all fingers point to her. But is it really her or the work of a serial killer? If like me, you’ve read hundreds of mysteries and are enthused about Sherlock Holmes tales, THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM is actually pretty predictable. Set in the Victorian Era, it promises to instil fear in you. Before Jack the Ripper, there was Golem- such is the tagline and you do want it to be the kind of movie that keeps you guessing until the very end as to the true identity of the killer.   Unlike the Jack the Ripper legend, Golem is easily recognizable in the very first instance the character is introduced.

Delirium (2018)— My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: After leaving the asylum and put in house arrest, Tom begins to believe the house is either haunted or he is hallucinating.  Most times, when we think about criminals, we wonder what could possible have prompted them to fall into a life of crime.

Look Away— my take on the movie with spoilers!

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying.  What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it? Imagine meeting someone who is good looking but is dull to the core. Now imagine someone with average looks but is someone you can have fun with or have an intellectual conversation. Which seems more attractive? Look Away takes a very bold stand where appearances are concerned. But also about self-confidence. In the end, the only argument it makes is that one cannot possess both attributes. LOOK AWAY Movie Plot  We are introduced to a timid girl, Maria whose father is a plastic surgeon. Her mother is shown to have no say of her own. She is left to watch her husband ridicule his daughter about not being careful with her looks. Maria has a friend Lily
