There's Something Wrong With The Children-- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT: Ben and Margaret are off on a weekend trip with their friends Ellie and Thomas and their two kids. It is when the kids disappear and reappear that Ben realizes something is very wrong with them. Kids. They are cute when they are young. Naughty when they become toddlers. Throw tantrums when they get older. And right before they turn teenagers, they become  moody and throw shade. But they can also be loving, sweet, and playful. In the case of horror movies, though, the kids are always creepy. THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CHILDREN Plot Ben and Margaret are having a fun time at their weekend get-together with friend couple Ellie, and Thomas. When we first see the four, Ben is asking Margaret if she needs another drink and gets it for her. Inspired by their lovey-dovey moment, Ellie asks Thomas to get her a drink, too. He briskly tells her where to find the drinks. Looks are exchanged. Margaret's look is more about how her relationship is better than hers. Ellie frow

Horror Movie News: Abigail Trailer Drops. Dead Zone gets a comedic twist in Departing Seniors.

Children can be such monsters. In this case, it is a literal monster we are talking about.  Coming this year, is a new vampire movie that is said to be loosely based on DRACULA’S DAUGHTER that was released in 1936. This movie in turn served as a sequel to DRACULA.

10 Horror Movies You Can Watch on Amazon Prime Video

It's the weekend.  Or you're halfway down the week and desperately need a break. Either way you're a horror fan and you want to do nothing but watch a horror movie or TV show because that is a welcome escape for you. People may think you are weird for enjoying content with ghosts, blood, gore, and hauntings, but you don't care and want your horror movie fix.

Bed Rest (2022)-- Ending Explained and Movie Spoilers

Plot: Julie, who is pregnant, is put on bed rest following an incident at her new house. However, she soon begins to wonder if the house is haunted. A person often goes through troubled periods in life and then there is nothing more assuaging than being able to start life anew. Not everyone can afford to make a change for the better for themselves, but that's okay. Turns out people end up moving into haunted houses every time and keep putting their lives at risk. At this point  maybe it is better to sort out your problems in the place you already are rather than changing places. But then we wouldn't get a good haunted house movie, would we? Bed Rest is a decent horror movie but it isn't free from problems. It drags in the middle rather than making us, the audience, wonder if what Julie is experiencing is part of her hallucinations or if something more sinister is going on. Eventually, the movie gains momentum towards the end and delivers a decent ending, although a tad

Is Scream 7 Going to Happen?

Ghostface may be finally defeated, but not by a final girl.

Sick-- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT: Parker and Miri head out to the lake during the pandemic and become targets for a serial killer. Late in 2019, when the Covid virus made news, no one believed the impact of the virus would be so much that it would effect our day to day lives. Come 2020 and there was still some uncertainty regarding the spread of the virus. And then it happened. The virus entered every country, infected a lot of people and created chaos. Curfews were implemented. Schools and offices were closed down and everything became online. Masks had to be worn everywhere. Social distancing had to be maintained. The lack of footfall ensured the failure of several businesses. And then the vaccines rolled out. Soon, the majority of people were vaccinated and the severity of the disease lessened. There were a lot of people who argued that the vaccines would have adverse effects. There were also those who didn't believe the virus existed and blamed on government conspiracy. The Covid cases may be on th

Phone Bhoot-- Ending Explained with spoilers!

Plot: Major and Gullu find their hands full when they come across a ghost who gives them a business idea that goes awry. I enjoy horror comedies. These are two genres which are hard to pull off and it is a challenge to evoke a response from them. While parodies are still am easier route, original stories in the horror-comedy genre can be difficult to write and there have been several attempts made in the past in which the movie just ends up being neither scary nor funny. Phone Bhoot has managed to fall into a category of its own. It tries to be funny and ends up being silly. It tries to induce frightening moments but ends up being...silly. Phone Bhoot is a silly movie in every aspect and you will wonder what prompted Katrina Kaif to take on such a role. She is clearly wasted in a movie that doesn't make use of her talents. She is left to babysit two actors who have performed better in previous movies. And then Jackie Shroff comes in and you wonder who wrote a script so bad ye

Horror Book of the Week: THE HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET by Boris Bacic

This week’s Horror Book recommendation is THE HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET written by Boris Bacic .  The book was published in December 2023 and is on the bestsellers list for U.S. Horror fiction and Domestic Thrillers.

Horror Weekly News: Mickey Mouse to star in a horror movie. The Hunted shows a grim world.

Before you can say, “There goes our childhood,” after learning about the twisted treatment the fairytales are getting, gear up for another cartoon character being transformed into a deranged killer.  This time it is none other than Mickey Mouse who is going to go on a killing spree. But this isn’t our regular Mickey Mouse who has a fun club. This is the Steamboat Willie Mickey who made his debut in this 1928 movie.

Best Horror Books of 2023

2023 was a great year for horror fans. There may have been plenty of TV shows and movies, but this year, we were also treated to a variety of horror books to suit every taste.  There was historical horror fiction that made the bestsellers list, and horror comedies that made us chuckle and spooked at the same time. Young readers also got a few books to scare them into having nightmares.

M3GAN--My Take on the Movie with Spoilers!

Plot: Gemma uses a life-like doll to help her niece Cady get over the tragedy of her parents. The doll takes her role in the family a little too seriously. Remember that time when  there were killer doll movies coming out right after Chucky became a success? Not all of them could pull off the sarcastic, psychotic killer doll vibes. But can M3GAN finally be a worthy contender?
