Plot: Katy returns to her childhood home and gets an uninvited guest every night. It's not always possible to maintain friendships. Sometimes, you move away. Sometimes, they do. Life gets busy. Commitments crop up. We do have social media to stay in touch even though we can be miles apart.

Don't Kill Me-- My take on the movie with Spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: Mirta returns from the dead following a drug overdose that caused her and her boyfriend Robin's death. She soon finds out she's being sought by a group who wants her dead and that she no longer craves normal food. Remember a couple of years ago, there was a huge craze for vampire stories. Everywhere you went, you were surrounded by vampire-themed movies and books, and video games. Of course, the popularity of vampire-themed stories grew because the writers no longer left the vampires in the dark. They were younger and given unique powers and strengths. And of course, they could walk in sunlight. How else are they going to attend high school, right?

It is the connections we make when we leave the comfort of our homes and the protection of our parents. Friendships become more meaningful for us as time passes and deeper and stronger. Rewatch Horror Movie: The Echo

I still remember the first time I saw THE ECHO .

Horror Weekly News: I Know What you did last summer gets a sequel. Stranger Things star gets a Hell of a Summer.

I know what you did last summer. I still know what you did last summer. I’ll always know what you did last summer.  Well, turns out there’s another movie joining the franchise. The title? It could either be I Know What You Did Last Summer or I Will Forever Keep Stalking You because of what you did last summer.  Okay, so the latter title may not work but considering the new movie is supposed to be a sequel, shouldn’t it have a different title?  A sequel was planned sometime in 2014 but the project was shelved. Now, finally in 2023, this project has been greenlit. Stars from the previous movies, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. are set to reprise their roles.  Will this be a legacy sequel like the current trend? Will we see Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. Playing parents to kids whose lives will be upturned by a stalker/killer who knows what they did last summer?  Maybe if these kids don’t post too much on social media they may just be able to keep their secrets.

The Legend of Amara Trilogy

Not every legend is about a hero.  Amara was supposed to be the brave little girl who saved a town from a pack of ferocious wolves.  A statue was built to honor her but a tribe that settled in the forest kept it hidden. No one was supposed to lay their eyes on her.  Years later, Kiara and her friends visit the forest and on a dare, send their friend Nari to see the statue. When they heard the screams, Kiara and her friends learned the grim truth about Amara.  But in a town that revered a little girl for her courage, Kiara knows no one is going to believe her. It was better to be quiet.  Then one day, she learns about her connection to Amara and realizes she may not be able to escape her. Deep in the woods, Nari is still alive and living with the tribe whose sole purpose has always been to protect the city from the truth about Amara, a witch.  Nari enlists Veer's help to keep an eye on Kiara, his neighbor. At first, he doesn't believe that Kiara is possessed by Amara. But when

No Exit--My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: During a blizzard, Darby stops at a rest stop and finds a van with a child tied up inside. She realizes someone in the rest stop is the kidnapper. We live in a world and a time where we think twice before trusting anyone. Family, still deserves some trust. Strangers...really? Yet, when we venture out into the world, don't we find ourselves tempted to just let go and trust someone. After all, not everyone could be unworthy of trust, right? There has to be someone whom we can trust to show us the right way.

Horror Weekly News: The Boogeyman trailer drops. Winnie the Pooh will see more blood in sequel.

Don’t let it out. Don’t let the Boogeyman get you.  Stephen King’s short story THE BOOGEYMAN has been adapted and the trailer has finally dropped.  Now, the short story which appeared in NIGHT SHIFT was about a father talking to the therapist about a malevolent force that has been going after his kids. Turns out the therapist is just a disguise for the Boogeyman.

King Knight--My Take on the Movie with Spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: Thorn and Willow are the priest and priestess of a coven. When Thorn receives an invitation to his high school reunion, his buried secrets emerge. I do enjoy comedies. I love horror movies. When combined, a horror-comedy movie makes for an entertaining evening. Movies like The Trip, Willy's Wonderland and Freaky have been immensely enjoyable with the right dose of humor and horror scenes in them.
