Horror Weekly News: Two spider movies coming soon!

It’s the season of spiders! If you have Arachnophobia, you may just want to avoid these two upcoming horror movies slated to release later in 2023.

First up is VERMIN, a french horror movie that will wrap up filming on March 3rd.

The film is about a young man called Kaleb who is about to turn 30. His life is in utter turmoil because he is in a fight with his sister over the matter of inheritance. His friendship with his best friend is also strayed.

Kaleb has a passion for exotic animals and one day, comes across a venomous spider. Unfortunately, the spider gets away…

The USP of this movie is that the star of the movie may be a real spider. Apparently, real spiders have been used in this movie. Hopefully, no spiders were harmed during the filming of this movie.

The movie stars Théo Christine and Finnegan Oldfield.

The second horror movie, STING, may not have real spiders considering the plot that has been revealed.

In STING, a twelve-year-old girl with a fascination with comic books has an egg fall from the sky and smash into her bedroom window. She takes care of it and hides it from her family. The egg hatches to reveal a spider that has an unusual appetite. First, it is blood, then the neighbor’s pets, and eventually the neighbors themselves. The spider starts to grow at an alarming rate.

Only Charlotte can save the day!

The movie stars Penelope Mitchell and Alyla Browne.

The release dates for both VERMIN and STING have not been confirmed yet.
