Horror Weekly News: I Know What you did last summer gets a sequel. Stranger Things star gets a Hell of a Summer.

I know what you did last summer. I still know what you did last summer. I’ll always know what you did last summer.

Well, turns out there’s another movie joining the franchise. The title? It could either be I Know What You Did Last Summer or I Will Forever Keep Stalking You because of what you did last summer.

Okay, so the latter title may not work but considering the new movie is supposed to be a sequel, shouldn’t it have a different title?

A sequel was planned sometime in 2014 but the project was shelved. Now, finally in 2023, this project has been greenlit. Stars from the previous movies, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. are set to reprise their roles.

Will this be a legacy sequel like the current trend? Will we see Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. Playing parents to kids whose lives will be upturned by a stalker/killer who knows what they did last summer?

Maybe if these kids don’t post too much on social media they may just be able to keep their secrets.

No further details on the project has been revealed yet.

I Know What You Did Last Summer was based on a novel by Lois Duncan.

In 2021, I Know What You Did Last Summer was adapted for TV but didn't get a renewal.

In other news…

Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard has turned writer and director for a horror comedy film titled HELL OF A SUMMER.

Finn Wolfhard has written and directed the movie alongside with Billy Bryk who also co-stars in the movie.

Not much has been revealed about the movie but the few images that have been released show the characters in the woods.

Could it be a killer in a summer camp movie?

Only time will tell.
