Horror Creatures: Cthulhu
Deep in the southern Pacific Ocean, lies the sunken city R’lyeh.
And what is this place? It’s a prison for the great creature called Cthulhu that needs to keep sleeping or he will bring with him the end of the world.
Cthulhu was born from the imagination of H.P. Lovecraft.
A prolific writer who generated stories still loved and cherished by all.
Cthulhu, who is often drawn as a creature with an octopus head, wings of a dragon and a caricature of the human form, is perhaps the most popular creatures to come from the mind of H.P. Lovecraft.
Cthulhu became so popular over the years that many cults formed all over the world, trying to awaken the creature from its deathlike sleep.
Let’s hope he keeps slumbering.
