PLOT SUMMARY: When Ellie goes through a transformation, Christopher, her new friend, wants her family to accept her as she is.

What does the discussion of eyes have to do with the movie Family Blood? Nothing except for most of the camera shots are just focused on the actor's eyes.
FAMILY BLOOD Movie Plot
We meet Ellie who is attending a support group and talking about her difficulties in bonding with her son Kyle and daughter Amy. Her kids are still peeved at her because of her drug addiction issues.
In the next meeting, a new member joins the support group. He introduces himself as Christopher and is charming but doesn't exactly tell anyone what his addiction really is.
Ellie has a tough time coping with the stress brought on by her kids and her inability to find a job and gives in to the drugs.
In a stupor, she thinks she sees someone watching her as she sits on a swing. Someone appears and she is hurt and then fed some blood.
When she comes to Ellie finds herself to be craving blood.
When Kyle gets a paper cut and uses a tissue to dab it, Ellie later picks up the tissue from the dustbin and sucks on it like it's candy.
She starts throwing up and Kyle is certain she's started using again even if she tells him she's not. He turns the whole house upside down but can't find her stash.
Ellie meets with Christopher again and she learns what she's become. He helps her gets accustomed to her new vampire self but doesn't want the kids to know yet.
Christopher comes into their house and isn't too happy that Kyle and Amy are not into their mother being a vampire.
Kyle and Amy know they have to get rid of Christopher.
Unfortunately, Kyle hasn't watched enough vampire movies and TV shows to know that he can't kill a vampire with a knife. He's tossed aside by Christopher who passes a snide comment regarding Kyle's lack of vampire knowledge.
FAMILY BLOOD Ending Explained
The next time Kyle does do research and carves a stake. When he goes after Christopher again, this time he manages to use the stake but Christopher grabs him and is about to hurt him when Ellie comes in with her own superpowers and warns Christopher to stay away from her family. Kyle uses the stake on Christopher and then tries to decapitate him.
Ellie is unable to control her bloodlust and tries to attack her kids. When Kyle gets injured, she tries to get him to take her blood but Amy stops her and tells her he shouldn't have to become a monster like her. Ellie collapses and pleads with the kids to let her die but they don't. She escapes and months later resurfaces in another city with another name, and apparently, her teeth have rotted.
Turns out as soon as you turn into a vampire, your dental health suffers. Or perhaps vampires cannot see their reflection and cannot brush their teeth without looking into the mirror.
Either way, Ellie too has to use dentures now.
