Creepy Urban Legends: Inunaki Village

We've all heard of ghost towns but here's a tale about an actual ghost town.

Located in Miyawaka Town in Japan, the Inunaki tunnel that leads to the Inunaki Village has its own horror stories.

Allegedly, while the tunnel was being constructed, it collapsed on the workers, killing them. There are stories of motorists hearing screams as they passed through the tunnel.

And then there was an incident where a man was murdered inside the tunnel. His soul still hasn't found peace...

But what is far more terrifying is the place that lays beyond the tunnel. The Inunaki Village.

Now some say that village never existed in the first place.

Others say that because there is a sign that says it doesn't follow the laws of Japan, the village isn't recognised.

There are many tales surrounding the village, and all of them are creepier than the others.

Just like in horror movies, don't expect your cellphone to work so you can call for help.

And why would you be calling for help? It's because the villagers are aggressive and will attack you with scythes if you dare step into the village.

Yet another story gives insight into why the village may have turned into a ghost village.

Turns out, one night, one of the villagers went crazy and attacked the villagers, killing thirty-three of them.

The other villagers fled in fright.

The screams of the villagers that were attacked are heard whenever someone enters the village.

So would you still head out in search of a village that may not exist...or worse, does exist. If the stories are true, that means there are plenty of trapped souls in the village that has not found peace.
