Let's Not Meet--My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: Aya, a pizza delivery girl, finds herself in a trap set by a serial killer.

There will be times when you come across someone and immediately judge them by the way they dress or behave. After all, first impressions are last impressions, and chances are, your instincts are right.

Then again, you can be charged with being judgmental if you don't actually give them a chance. Learn their stories, find out their likes and dislikes.

Without that knowledge, you never know if they should belong to your life or not.
Even the quiet ones can sometimes show the most intellect and courage.

Let's not meet is about Aya, a pizza delivery woman who usually does night shifts.
On one such delivery, she finds herself face to face with a girl from her high school who tormented her by calling her home school. Why? Because Aya was homeschooled and had trouble assimilating in a regular school.

When she leaves, Amber makes fun of her with her friend. But Jessica's boyfriend Nate reveals Aya's tragic childhood.
Later on, along with Amber's boyfriend and Nate's friend Brittany, they go camping.

Being a forest ranger, Nate and Amber's boyfriend find the marking moved.

Nate and Brittany come across a tent in a secluded spot and feel suspicious. The tent is filled with underwear and photos. Brittany finds a camcorder with a video of a woman's interview.

The woman was part of a cult and explains how demons need a vessel to come into our world. That is why animal sacrifices and blood is used.

In the meantime, Aya is making more deliveries at night when she receives a call from her niece asking her to come home.
At the next house, Aya finds a note asking her to leave the pizza inside. Aya is initially hesitant, but the promise of more pay sways her decision.

She goes in and finds the customer tied up. It's a trap.
Someone specifically wanted Aya and while making an escape, ventures into the forest.

The friends are attacked by a weird being and Amber's boyfriend is taken.

Taking refuge in a tent, Brittany shows courage to go out when Nate is injured after stepping on a trap.

On the way, she meets Aya and recognizes her from school.

Brittany pleads with the man to help her get a cellphone signal or a ride to the hospital, not realizing he's a helper to a vampire-like being.

Aya helps her and they make an escape.

But this is a slasher movie, so Nate, Amber's boyfriend and Brittany are unfortunately slayed and bled out.
In the end, it is Aya who helps Jessica and Amber, and the three girls end the movie with a hug.

This was a fun, tense, slasher movie with never a dull moment.
The acting too was decent.

Scare scale: 4/5

The Limehouse Golem- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: When Elizabeth's husband is found dead, all fingers point to her. But is it really her or the work of a serial killer? If like me, you’ve read hundreds of mysteries and are enthused about Sherlock Holmes tales, THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM is actually pretty predictable. Set in the Victorian Era, it promises to instil fear in you. Before Jack the Ripper, there was Golem- such is the tagline and you do want it to be the kind of movie that keeps you guessing until the very end as to the true identity of the killer.   Unlike the Jack the Ripper legend, Golem is easily recognizable in the very first instance the character is introduced.

Delirium (2018)— My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: After leaving the asylum and put in house arrest, Tom begins to believe the house is either haunted or he is hallucinating.  Most times, when we think about criminals, we wonder what could possible have prompted them to fall into a life of crime.

Look Away— my take on the movie with spoilers!

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying.  What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it? Imagine meeting someone who is good looking but is dull to the core. Now imagine someone with average looks but is someone you can have fun with or have an intellectual conversation. Which seems more attractive? Look Away takes a very bold stand where appearances are concerned. But also about self-confidence. In the end, the only argument it makes is that one cannot possess both attributes. LOOK AWAY Movie Plot  We are introduced to a timid girl, Maria whose father is a plastic surgeon. Her mother is shown to have no say of her own. She is left to watch her husband ridicule his daughter about not being careful with her looks. Maria has a friend Lily
