Untitled Horror Movie-- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: Six actors decide to shoot their own film and accidentally summon a demon in the process.

Have you ever wondered what the stars of a TV show do when they are on a hiatus and wonder if they will be back on?

They make movies, of course. Low budget, found footage kind of movies. And horror. And also, they do some kind of spell which wasn't supposed to work but does. The result? The stars are haunted by a demon.

This is pretty much the premise of Untitled Horror Movie.

UNTITLED HORROR MOVIE Plot

The movie begins with an actor, Max, getting a video call from his agent telling him that his TV show is most likely being cancelled.

He immediately holds a video conference with his co-stars: Alex, Chrissy, Kelly, Kip and Declan.

Among all of these, Kip is trying to make an independent horror movie and has the actors play the same scene.

Alex quickly points out the dumbness of her character but according to the others, there is no need to use common sense in a horror movie.

Only there is. Nobody likes a senseless horror movie.

Everyone freaks out when they learn their show is going to be cancelled and are worried they won't be let out of their contracts by the network. They find a loophole and decide to work on Kip's movie that is garnering some interest from producers.

They each get the same script and have to film it themselves using the effects of their phone cameras.

The next day, everyone praises Chrissy's use of the shadow effect to make the horror scene more effective.

But Chrissy tells them she doesn't know what they are talking about and hasn't used any such effect.

The next night the stars film their scenes again. This time the shadow is present in Alex's video and she also claims she hasn't used any effects.

Chrissy joins late and everyone is shocked to see bruises on her face. She tells them she felt like her hand was controlled by a supernatural force but her friends don't believe her.

That night, Kip gets a video that prompts him to wake Alex up. He shows her a video of Chrissy sleeping and they guess that Max must have come over and filmed her.

Everyone is woken up and Kelly gets cranky until she sees the video.
Chrissy gets spooked when she sees the video and swears she doesn't know who took it. They all scare her even more by telling her the intruder who filmed her may still be inside and she needs to call the cops.

Chrissy calls the cops and then decides she's going to face her attacker head-on. She picks up a knife and then is reminded that she is an actress who only has props and treadmills at home.

Chrissy is convinced that no one is at home and eases only for something to knock on the door. Her friends think it's impossible for cops to arrive so quickly because they are currently working on a horror movie and as a rule, cops never come on time.

Chrissy is confident that this time the cops are on time. She walks towards the door, keeping her webcam on so that everyone can see what is going on.

The next instant, she is flung against the wall and her hand reaches out to choke herself. She stops moving eventually and as her friends gasp, her hand moves yet again to remove the pendulum from around her neck. The very same that was used to summon the demon.

More gasps.

Her friends freak out and wonder if this is all an act or real.

UNTITLED HORROR MOVIE Ending Explained with Spoilers!

Declan decides to go over and check up on Chrissy.
The rest of them are shown another video where Declan has already reached Chrissy's house.

The others know that Declan cannot have reached her house too quickly considering how far she lives. The video shows Declan being the one to push Chrissy.

The video goes out and a call to Declan is made who tells them he's still on the road and proves it by turning his camera around.

When he reaches Chrissy's house, she's laying on the floor and a few minutes later, stands up and stares outside at Declan.

He freaks and runs away only for Kelly to call him a coward that gets him to turn back and retrieve the pendulum.

Later, Kip is told that his raw footage has gotten interest from quite a lot of studios.

More good news is on the way as the Network Executive calls them and tells them their show is renewed for three more seasons.

The others have hardly any time to celebrate before the executive receives a package. It is the pendulum with the spell that the executive quickly reads out.
Declan starts bashing his head on the screen while the others have their eyes turn white.

There goes the show then. No more renewals.

The movie was engaging yet not as funny as it is advertised.

Scare scale: 3.5/5

The Limehouse Golem- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: When Elizabeth's husband is found dead, all fingers point to her. But is it really her or the work of a serial killer? If like me, you’ve read hundreds of mysteries and are enthused about Sherlock Holmes tales, THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM is actually pretty predictable. Set in the Victorian Era, it promises to instil fear in you. Before Jack the Ripper, there was Golem- such is the tagline and you do want it to be the kind of movie that keeps you guessing until the very end as to the true identity of the killer.   Unlike the Jack the Ripper legend, Golem is easily recognizable in the very first instance the character is introduced.

Delirium (2018)— My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: After leaving the asylum and put in house arrest, Tom begins to believe the house is either haunted or he is hallucinating.  Most times, when we think about criminals, we wonder what could possible have prompted them to fall into a life of crime.

Look Away— my take on the movie with spoilers!

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying.  What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it? Imagine meeting someone who is good looking but is dull to the core. Now imagine someone with average looks but is someone you can have fun with or have an intellectual conversation. Which seems more attractive? Look Away takes a very bold stand where appearances are concerned. But also about self-confidence. In the end, the only argument it makes is that one cannot possess both attributes. LOOK AWAY Movie Plot  We are introduced to a timid girl, Maria whose father is a plastic surgeon. Her mother is shown to have no say of her own. She is left to watch her husband ridicule his daughter about not being careful with her looks. Maria has a friend Lily
