Today is the day, a movie from a popular horror franchise is going to release on Netflix.

Yes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre is releasing today!

Leatherface, the villain of the movie is going to find new people to terrorize and kill. The premise is centered around Melody and her sister and friends going to a small town in Texas. And guess who they meet there? Leatherface, of course. Although Leatherface is supposed to be quite old now. But that’s not going to stop him from wielding a chainsaw and killing people, is it?

But Leatherface is going to face quite a challenge from Sally Hardesty, one of the girls who escaped him when he went on a killing spree. Sally is going to make an appearance to take down the murderer. Will she succeed?

In other news, the trailer for NOPE dropped and of course, no details are revealed. The trailer shows characters looking up at the sky in shock. Now what could they be looking at? Is it a weird cloud? A kite? A UFO?

It does seem there might be a spaceship involved but this is Jordan Peele’s movie and so of course there’s going to be a plot twist no one is going to see coming.

If like me, you’ve read hundreds of mysteries and are enthused about Sherlock Holmes tales, THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM is actually pretty predictable. Set in the Victorian Era, it promises to instil fear in you. Before Jack the Ripper, there was Golem- such is the tagline and you do want it to be the kind of movie that keeps you guessing until the very end as to the true identity of the killer. Unlike the Jack the Ripper legend, Golem is easily recognizable in the very first instance the character is introduced.

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying. What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it? Imagine meeting someone who is good looking but is dull to the core. Now imagine someone with average looks but is someone you can have fun with or have an intellectual conversation. Which seems more attractive? Look Away takes a very bold stand where appearances are concerned. But also about self-confidence.
