Werewolves Within-- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: When a snowstorm traps the residents in a town, Finn, the new ranger, must find out if one of them is the werewolf behind all the killings.

In a small town, everyone knows your name and everyone is informed about your affairs. So when something unusual happens the suspicion usually falls on the outsider.

And sometimes, that guess is absolutely right.

Werewolves Within Movie Plot

The movie begins with a man in the woods, suddenly being attacked.

We then meet Finn Wheeler, the new ranger in town who quickly befriends the mailwoman, Cecily. She gives him a tour around the town, introducing him to the townsfolk who are divided upon the issue of a pipeline proposed by a businessman, Sam Parker.

Finn and Sam take residence at a lodge run by Jeanine who is the wife of the man killed in the first scene. There is a doctor living there too, Dr. Ellis.

After the tour, Finn and Cecily spend some time together and almost have a moment that is interrupted by a call.

Later that night, a neighbor's dog is killed and she rushes into the lodge to cry about it. A blackout occurs and the town's people gather inside. Finn goes out to investigate and finds that the generator was tampered with. He is returning when he spots Jeanine's husband laying under the porch.

Dr Ellis collects some samples from the body and goes to her room to run them through her machines.

While this is happening, another townie is dragged out of his bedroom and has his hand bitten by an unseen assailant.

Dr Ellis concludes her tests and finds out that it is the work of a werewolf and that it is one of the people present in the lodge.

Fingers are pointed, accusations are screamed, speech about community is given which no one pays heed to.

Dr. Ellis dies and Parker tells everyone she committed suicide. Considering she was against his pipeline proposal, everyone wonders what exactly happened to her.

Cecily and Finn leave again and while conducting an investigation, Cecily finds newspaper cuttings of werewolf attacks at all the places Finn was stationed in. She grows suspicious of him.

Back at the lodge, all the residents have turned against each other to the point that they've begun killing each other.

When Finn returns, Parker accuses him of being the werewolf but Finn tells him there's no such thing as a werewolf and thinks Parker has gone crazy and is responsible for the paranoia.

Parker is about to kill him when another resident kills him.

Werewolves Within Ending Explained with Spoilers!

Finn and Cecily return to the bar where he finds packages that Cecily claimed to have no knowledge about. He finds a badge and paperwork that shows that Jeanine's husband was the mailman before Cecily.

He concludes that Cecily must be the werewolf. She transforms and attacks him but Finn manages to subdue her with the help of a hermit. As in every horror movie, the monster/killer rarely stays down so she gets up again, only for Jeanine to show up and get her with the crossbow.

The end.

The movie had some fun moments but fared average in its horror components.

An interesting movie you still don't want to miss.

The Limehouse Golem- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: When Elizabeth's husband is found dead, all fingers point to her. But is it really her or the work of a serial killer? If like me, you’ve read hundreds of mysteries and are enthused about Sherlock Holmes tales, THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM is actually pretty predictable. Set in the Victorian Era, it promises to instil fear in you. Before Jack the Ripper, there was Golem- such is the tagline and you do want it to be the kind of movie that keeps you guessing until the very end as to the true identity of the killer.   Unlike the Jack the Ripper legend, Golem is easily recognizable in the very first instance the character is introduced.

Delirium (2018)— My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: After leaving the asylum and put in house arrest, Tom begins to believe the house is either haunted or he is hallucinating.  Most times, when we think about criminals, we wonder what could possible have prompted them to fall into a life of crime.

Look Away— my take on the movie with spoilers!

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying.  What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it? Imagine meeting someone who is good looking but is dull to the core. Now imagine someone with average looks but is someone you can have fun with or have an intellectual conversation. Which seems more attractive? Look Away takes a very bold stand where appearances are concerned. But also about self-confidence. In the end, the only argument it makes is that one cannot possess both attributes. LOOK AWAY Movie Plot  We are introduced to a timid girl, Maria whose father is a plastic surgeon. Her mother is shown to have no say of her own. She is left to watch her husband ridicule his daughter about not being careful with her looks. Maria has a friend Lily
