A new horror game is on its way.
Supermassive Games has revealed a new game called The Quarry. The announcement trailer dropped on 2K's official YouTube Channel.
From the trailer it appears that the local sheriff (voiced by David Arquette) warns the nine camp counsellors to get out of the camp before sundown.
Of course that doesn't happen and the nine counsellors are subjected to a terrifying occurrence where they are hunted by something supernatural. Or is it?
You get to play as each of the nine counsellors and you get to decide their fate before dawn arrives.
Will your choices save them or have them killed?
The developers ensure there is at least 10 hours of gameplay despite the choices you make.
The cast includes David Arquette, Lin Shaye, Lance Henriksen, Grace Zabriskie, Ted Raimi, Ariel Winter, Ethan Suplee, Miles Robbins, Halston Sage, Zach Tinker, Brenda Song, Siobhan Williams, Skyler Gisondo, Evan Evagora, and Justice Smith
The game would be released for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S on June 10, 2022.
In other news…
The enjoyable and amusing horror anthology, SCARE PACKAGE, gets a sequel.
The first movie had seven stories by seven directors, and as it claimed in its tagline, zero working cellphones.
This time the tagline for SCARE PACKAGE II: RAD CHAD'S REVENGE is--The call is coming from inside the movie.
The story will focus on the survivors of the first movie as they attend the funeral of “Rad Chad” Buckley which then turns into a series of death traps forcing the guests to use the rules of horror to survive.
It will be interesting to see this one for sure.
The movie is slated to release this year but no date has been confirmed yet.
