Horror Weekly News: Casting Call for Nun 2 Announced. Don't Worry Darling Trailer Released.
The Nun 2 is happening! It’s no surprise that there is a sequel and after THE NUN came out in 2018 and proved to be a hit, there were talks about a second part.
But when COVID hit and so many projects were shelved, and shootings were halted, there was speculation that The Nun 2 might either be further delayed or not happen at all.
Well, it is definitely going on floors soon based on the casting call link.
What’s more there is a synopsis too.

In other news…
The trailer for Don’t Worry Darling has dropped and already garnered a positive response.
The movie is directed by Olivia Wilde who also stars in the movie. Harry Styles and Florence Pugh star in this horror thriller as well.
The trailer shows Alice and Jack living a happy life in a picturesque town along with friendly neighbors. Things take a strange turn when Alice witnesses one of the wives behaving erratically and then jumping off the roof.
She begins to question the secret project all the husbands in the community are working on. When she doesn’t get the answer she wants, she begins to feel threatened and tries to flee. Her husband is obviously none too pleased with her questioning everything when they should be content with their idyllic life.
A scene shows her on a chair with plastic wrapped around her face which she tears off.
Many have compared the movie to The Stepford Wives and The Truman Show.
While it does show similar elements it isn’t likely the movie would directly lift from these extremely popular movies.
As per Olivia Wilde’s statement: “What would it take for you to give up that life, that perfect life. What are you really willing to sacrifice to do what’s right? Are you willing to dismantle the system that’s designed to serve you?”
The movie has everyone definitely intrigued.
