Horror Weekly News: A popular series gets a spinoff. Becky Returns.

Got a secret. Can you Keep it?

Well, it is no secret anymore that Pretty Little Liars is coming back. The spin-off of the hit series will entice viewers with a brand new mystery of revenge and mayhem. A new set of liars will be tormented and their secrets will be threatened by an unknown person: A.

In the original series, A, the antagonist turns out to be a group of people, all of them who despised the Liars to the extent that they did nothing but follow them around.

In the television series, there was A, there was A-Team, then Big A and then Uber A.

Hopefully, the spin-off will try to control the number of A’s running amok.

The teaser shows a person putting up missing persons sheets up on a board and then running some through the shredder, stabbing other photos of girls with scissors, etc.

Then a light shows on the dark figure with the letter A masking her face. The person appears to be a girl but let’s see what happens.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will stream on HBO Max on July 28th.

In other news…

In 2020, a movie called BECKY came out. The movie was about a girl who tries to defend her father and his girlfriend from a group of convicts that break into their lake house.

Becky uses whatever skills and equipment she has at her disposal to defend herself.

The movie became a quick favorite and was critically acclaimed.

And now, a sequel to the movie has been announced.

The movie is titled Becky 2: The Wrath of Becky.

The first movie ended with Becky being questioned by the police, but she holds her ground and doesn’t reveal any details about how the convicts who broke into her home, met their demise.

Considering that Becky took down all her enemies, just what exactly is going to happen in the second part? Perhaps the convicts she killed had powerful allies who will want to avenge their deaths.

Or perhaps, Becky will have to defend her foster/adopted parents from criminals.

Becky has been known to go to great lengths to protect her family.

The movie sees the return of Lulu Wilson as Becky. Seann William Scott also stars.

The movie is set to release sometime next year.

The Limehouse Golem- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: When Elizabeth's husband is found dead, all fingers point to her. But is it really her or the work of a serial killer? If like me, you’ve read hundreds of mysteries and are enthused about Sherlock Holmes tales, THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM is actually pretty predictable. Set in the Victorian Era, it promises to instil fear in you. Before Jack the Ripper, there was Golem- such is the tagline and you do want it to be the kind of movie that keeps you guessing until the very end as to the true identity of the killer. Unlike the Jack the Ripper legend, Golem is easily recognizable in the very first instance the character is introduced.

Delirium (2018)— My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: After leaving the asylum and put in house arrest, Tom begins to believe the house is either haunted or he is hallucinating. Most times, when we think about criminals, we wonder what could possible have prompted them to fall into a life of crime.

Look Away— my take on the movie with spoilers!

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying. What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it? Imagine meeting someone who is good looking but is dull to the core. Now imagine someone with average looks but is someone you can have fun with or have an intellectual conversation. Which seems more attractive? Look Away takes a very bold stand where appearances are concerned. But also about self-confidence. In the end, the only argument it makes is that one cannot possess both attributes. LOOK AWAY Movie Plot We are introduced to a timid girl, Maria whose father is a plastic surgeon.
