Christmas Bloody Christmas-- My take on the movie with Spoilers!

Plot: It's almost Christmas and Tori want to have fun with her friends. But a killer robotic Santa is on the loose to ruin the festivities.

Horror slasher movies are no longer limited to the spooky season. For horror fans, horror movies during the Christmas season are the perfect gift.

Christmas Bloody Christmas is an interesting slasher movie and a decent festive horror movie so to speak.

However, too much screen time is given to Tori and her friend Robbie getting drunk and discussing heavy metal bands.

It's nice she has a friend during Christmas and all who she can vibe with but for a slasher movie, these scenes end up slowing the pace.

While slasher movies are notorious for not explaining the killer's motives most of the time, in this case, a little more explanation could have been akin to a nice little ribbon on a gift.

Seriously...why was the robot Santa relentlessly going after Tori?

CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS Plot

The movie begins with ads on TV. It's all about Christmas and there is one that mentions robotic Santa perfect for malls and parties.

Cut to Tori and her friend/employee Robbie palling around. They have a vinyl record shop and keep talking about which band had the best album. Tori keeps putting Robbie and his tastes down.

They head out to meet their friends

Lahna and Jay owns a toyshop. Guess what is inside their toyshop? The main villain RoboSanta, of course.

They have drinks, give cheers, and then Tori is out on her way. Robbie follows her obediently. RoboSanta is watching very closely.

Tori and Robbie head to a bar where a police officer buys them drinks. Comments are also passed regarding Tori and Robbie hooking up but Tori denies having a thing for him. Robbie does claim to be good at satisfying women.

While Lahna and Jay are having some fun of their own, RoboSanta has been activated. He roams around the store until he finds the couple who are completely lost in themselves. He hacks them up before they can be satisfied.

Their screams are heard by Tori who misconstrues it as her friends having fun in bed.

Robbie and Tori head over to her house where he shows off his skills to her.

Meanwhile, RoboSanta has moved into the neighbor's house next door, the one with tacky Christmas Lights, according to Tori who does seem to look down on everyone and everything.

RoboSanta kills the parents. Tori, fully satisfied, look out the window just in time to see RoboSanta drop the axe on the little boy.

She practically screams and then proceeds to look for her phone. Robbie can't find him either.

Typical horror trope.

Tori goes to wake up her sister and her husband. Tori doesn't bother to ask them about their phones. They aren't going to survive for that long anyway.

RoboSanta breaks into the house and begins to hack at everything.

Robbie and Tori barely manage to get out. Her sister and her husband have become victims already.

They drive away but RoboSanta catches up to them and Robbie is quickly killed.

However, right before, they had managed to contact the police. A car arrives, and while Tori tries to explain what is happening, RoboSanta kills the officers.

Tori manages to get away but her blood-soaked appearance doesn’t work in her favor when she is cornered by more policemen.

They think she's a murderer and a cop killer.

She is taken to the station where the officer who bought her a drink cannot believe she was so cool and collected when he met her at the bar.

RoboSanta arrives and the police are forced to believe Tori. There was an ad playing in the background regarding the recall.

The police are no match for RoboSanta. Tori's hiding skills are.

She manages to get away just for a little bit, using a taser. gets away just for a  No matter how many times RoboSanta is shot, he keeps getting up.

CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS Ending Explained

Eventually, Tori ends up at a shop and tries to use whatever is at her disposal, at the killer.

She stabs him with a toy sword and lights a fire in a dustbin to activate the sprinklers. The whole point is to electrocute the RoboSanta.

It doesn't work that well and she ends up having to rip off pipes and electrical cables to properly electrocute RoboSanta.

RoboSanta is properly electrocuted and stays down this time.

Tori stumbles out of the shop. It's morning. It's snowing.

She collapses on the road and sobs/cries/screams.

The movie ends.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a sequel. There certainly is obvious potential.

Perhaps the sequel could explain what happened to cause the malfunction in RoboSanta. An origin story of sorts.

The Limehouse Golem- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: When Elizabeth's husband is found dead, all fingers point to her. But is it really her or the work of a serial killer? If like me, you’ve read hundreds of mysteries and are enthused about Sherlock Holmes tales, THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM is actually pretty predictable. Set in the Victorian Era, it promises to instil fear in you. Before Jack the Ripper, there was Golem- such is the tagline and you do want it to be the kind of movie that keeps you guessing until the very end as to the true identity of the killer.   Unlike the Jack the Ripper legend, Golem is easily recognizable in the very first instance the character is introduced.

PLOT SUMMARY: After leaving the asylum and put in house arrest, Tom begins to believe the house is either haunted or he is hallucinating.  Most times, when we think about criminals, we wonder what could possible have prompted them to fall into a life of crime.

Look Away— my take on the movie with spoilers!

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying.  What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it? Imagine meeting someone who is good looking but is dull to the core. Now imagine someone with average looks but is someone you can have fun with or have an intellectual conversation. Which seems more attractive? Look Away takes a very bold stand where appearances are concerned. But also about self-confidence. In the end, the only argument it makes is that one cannot possess both attributes. LOOK AWAY Movie Plot  We are introduced to a timid girl, Maria whose father is a plastic surgeon. Her mother is shown to have no say of her own. She is left to watch her husband ridicule his daughter about not being careful with her looks. Maria has a friend Lily
