Horror Weekly News: Get Ready for Two Jordan Peele Movies in 2024. Nefarious trailer drops.

Jordan Peele’s fans have two reasons to celebrate next year. 

Two horror films produced under Jordan Peele’s production house Monkeypaw Productions, will release in the second half of next year. 


While Jordan Peele will direct the movie that will release next Christmas, there are still no details available for the movie that will release on September 27th.. 


Jordan Peele’s first horror movie GET OUT, was a commercial and critical success. The movie was a psychological horror that won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. 


In 2019, horror-thriller US was released that was again a smashing success because of its mind-bending twists and turns. 


Then came NOPE in 2022 that was a Sci-fi thriller. The movie was a success yet again and was named in the top 10 movies of 2022 by the American Film Institute. 


Since Jordan Peele’s next directorial venture is releasing during Christmas, can we assume it will be a Christmas-themed horror movie? Watching what twists and turns will be brought on to the story if it were a Christmas movie will be interesting. 


In other news…


Sean Patrick Flanery plays the titular role in the upcoming horror thriller movie, NEFARIOUS. 


The actor is known for playing a wide variety of roles. His most famous role was playing Indiana Jones in THE ADVENTURES OF YOUNG INDIANA JONES. 


Now, Sean Patrick Flanery will be seen as a serial killer who on the day of his execution, claims he is a demon. Enter Dr. James Martin, played by Jordan Belfi, who is brought in to evaluate the convict. 


Based on the trailer that was released recently, the psychiatrist obviously doesn’t believe the convict and assumes he is pretending to be possessed in order to delay or postpone the execution. 


When unexplained occurrences take place, the psychiatrist is forced to believe the prisoner. 


The trailer reveals a further twist in the story. The demon, who is nefarious (let’s not forget that), wants something from the psychiatrist. Although the trailer doesn’t reveal the motive, the synopsis suggests that the psychiatrist may be forced to kill three people. 


Just who they are and why must they be killed will form the crux of the story. 


The movie is supposed to be a prequel to popular suspense novels A NEFARIOUS PLOT and A NEFARIOUS CAROL written by Steve Deace. 


The movie is slated to release on April 14th. 


So, along with Nicolas Cage’s RENFIELD, and Russel Crowe’s THE POPE’S EXORCIST, we also have Sean Patrick Flanery’s NEFARIOUS. 


Three horror movies releasing in one day! 


For now at least, there have been no date changes announced.

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying.  What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it?
