The Black Phone sequel announced. Is a crossover on the cards?
Can a crossover between Sinister and The Black Phone be possible?
Ethan Hawke plays the main role in both movies and he dies in both as well. It will be difficult to adjust all elements of both tales and merge them into one.
The crossover with Insidious could have been more possible as well as terrifying. The Further, a place Dalton and his father Josh are able to visit through astral projection, can also be The Bughuul’s home where he holds the children he has brainwashed into helping him.
The timeline in Sinister and The Black Phone will make it hard for a crossover to take place.
The Grabber dies in 1978. Ellison dies in 2012.
The only thing common in the movies was that The Grabber as well as The Bughuul, went after children. One of them kidnapped them, the other used them for his own sinister purposes.
While it becomes unlikely that these two storylines can be merged, who knows what a creative mind can come up with. There are no limitations when it comes to writing a good horror story, is there?
