The trailer for LONGLEGS has finally released. Or has it?
Going by the way NEON has been teasing the audience for weeks now, it wouldn’t be surprised that the one minute, forty-five second trailer is yet another ruse.
The trailer adds more mystery to the movie and all we get is visuals of something disconcerting happening blended with an ominous background score.
Going by the trailer, Longlegs appears to be a really scary movie.
In the trailer, we see a woman studying some symbols, a girl looking out the window, the dead of winter. A cross is uncovered, a woman stares through a veil, and maybe, just maybe, we catch a glimpse of Nicolas Cage.
In an interview, Nicolas Cage has described his character as a “possessed Geppetto. He further added that his character makes dolls and sends them to families to make them do terrible things.
It was earlier reported that the test audience for the movie lauded Cage’s performance but also said that his character is so off-putting that it would scare off viewers.
The movie certainly seems promising and a must-see for horror fans.
