Top 10 Scream 6 Trivia

The sixth installment in the SCREAM franchise was Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega's last movie in the franchise before the controversies.

Apart from that, here are the Top 10 Trivia from Scream VI:

1) Much like last year’s hit horror movie SMILE, SCREAM 6 has its main antagonist, GHOSTFACE, roaming about cities, and scaring people.

When SMILE was about to release, the same marketing strategies were used wherein actors were placed around sporting events, wearing creepy smiles.

The tactic sure worked for Smile.

2) This will be the first movie in the franchise without Neve Campbell and David Arquette who played Sidney and Dewey respectfully. While Dewey (Spoiler alert) dies in the previous movie, Neve Campbell refused to be a part of the movie since she was being paid less than she deserved.

3) Courtney Cox returns in this movie and has commented that she wouldn’t mind playing the role of Gale Weathers, for free. A snide comment to Neve Campbell?

4) This is the first movie in the series that has roman numerals in its title. All the other movies were numbered although the fifth one was without. However, the title of the fifth movie Scream was supposed to have a hidden roman numeral five in the M.

5) Hayden Panettiere returns to play Kirby. She was last seen in Scream 4 and had become popular because of her clever and snarky attitude. According to the filmmakers, they had wanted the actress to return but couldn’t find her.

6) Singer Demi Lovato, has released a song STILL ALIVE for this movie.

7) Scream 6 was originally going to release on March 31st but the release date was pushed up. The movie is now releasing on March 10th, although in several countries it will release on 8th March.

8) Unlike the previous movies, Scream 6 will take place in a different place--New York City. Apparently, the survivors of the previous part have decided enough is enough, and moved to New York City.

9) Ghostface was usually seen chasing victims with a knife, however, the trailer shows the killer with a gun. Fans were reportedly disappointed by this change but the filmmakers have stated that they did want people to raise their eyebrows when they saw what new Ghostface had brought to the table.

10) Scream 6 was screened for critics who have positive things to say about the movie, even going as far as to say that the tone and style are comparable to the original although it is a tad more gory. The movie currently holds a 76% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Limehouse Golem- My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: When Elizabeth's husband is found dead, all fingers point to her. But is it really her or the work of a serial killer? If like me, you’ve read hundreds of mysteries and are enthused about Sherlock Holmes tales, THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM is actually pretty predictable. Set in the Victorian Era, it promises to instil fear in you. Before Jack the Ripper, there was Golem- such is the tagline and you do want it to be the kind of movie that keeps you guessing until the very end as to the true identity of the killer.   Unlike the Jack the Ripper legend, Golem is easily recognizable in the very first instance the character is introduced.

Delirium (2018)— My take on the movie with spoilers!

PLOT SUMMARY: After leaving the asylum and put in house arrest, Tom begins to believe the house is either haunted or he is hallucinating.  Most times, when we think about criminals, we wonder what could possible have prompted them to fall into a life of crime.

Look Away— my take on the movie with spoilers!

Plot Summary: A bullied girl switches places with her reflection. She soon regrets her decision as people start dying.  What matters most? Looks or confidence? When we see someone for the first time, we do notice their looks, the way they dress. Personality and their ability to initiate and hold a conversation comes second, doesn't it? Imagine meeting someone who is good looking but is dull to the core. Now imagine someone with average looks but is someone you can have fun with or have an intellectual conversation. Which seems more attractive? Look Away takes a very bold stand where appearances are concerned. But also about self-confidence. In the end, the only argument it makes is that one cannot possess both attributes. LOOK AWAY Movie Plot  We are introduced to a timid girl, Maria whose father is a plastic surgeon. Her mother is shown to have no say of her own. She is left to watch her husband ridicule his daughter about not being careful with her looks. Maria has a friend Lily
