Horror News: Trailer drop for IT'S NOT OVER

It’s not over, but it very well should be.

The trailer for the new horror thriller IT’S NOT OVER has dropped and by the looks of it, the movie is going to have a predictable plot and actors who look like they are forcing themselves to deliver their lines.

You will never find actors looking as disinterested as they do in this movie.

As for the story, there is some promise but it will all depend on the execution.

In the trailer we see a couple called Max and Sarah, enjoying themselves as a couple. Max is serious enough to tell his father Frank about Sarah.

Ready to take the next step in the relationship, Max suggests that Sarah moves in with him. But that is when Sarah suddenly becomes hostile. She claims she enjoys her freedom and will not let anyone take it from her.

Sarah is a photographer so while Max is looking at photos in the next scene, he is surprised to find photos of dead and ripped apart animals. Following that, Max then asks Sarah about a picture on the wall of her apartment that is always crooked.

Busybody that he is, he goes to straighten it only for a photo to fall out from the back. Hopefully that actual scene is a lot better because in the trailer, the scene looks amateurish and illogical. Just how did that photo fall down? Why even hide it in plain sight?

Anyway, the photo happens to be of a dead man and it is implied that it is Sarah’s ex husband.

Surprised to see the photo, Max is given very little chance to ask questions before Sarah comes for him.

In the next scene, Frank turns up at Sarah’s door, demanding to know where his son is. Sarah feigns innocence and makes excuses about Max just going away on short notice.

But Frank senses something has happened to his son and goes about his own investigation.

We see glimpses of Sarah hallucinating Max. Could it all be in her mind or is Max haunting her?

Is Max even dead or is Sarah paranoid and hallucinating about her captive? Maybe Max is all tied up in the basement?

The trailer shows actors with stiff faces and disinterest etched on their faces but the suspense element might just about save the movie.

Written and Directed by Alessandro Riccardi, the movie stars Christopher Lambert, Gianni Capaldi, and Weronika Rosati.

IT’S NOT OVER will release on June 25th.
