Horror News: What You Wish For trailer drop. Russell Crowe stars in The Exorcism.



Be careful what you wish for. You might just have your dream may come true but you may soon realize that it comes with a lot of strings attached. 

This suspense horror movie is about a talented chef called Ryan whose gambling problems force him to leave town. He travels to an unnamed Latin American country where he stays with Jack, a prestigious chef who has an extravagant lifestyle. 

Ryan can’t help but feel envious and wonders how Jack is able to afford his lifestyle. Soon enough, Ryan takes on Jack’s identity and gets a taste of the luxury lifestyle only to later discover just how Jack was able to manage his lifestyle. 

In the trailer for WHAT YOU WISH FOR L, we see Ryan living with Jack in a Villa. They are bonding and cooking and generally having fun. One morning, Ryan finds Jack hanging from a noose. 

Ryan is shocked but then realizes that he has the opportunity to do something with his life. He disposes off Jack’s body and then forges an ID card, assuming Jack’s identity. 

In the next moment, he meets a woman who has never met Jack before and assumes Ryan is him. She offers him a job and he takes it, happy to finally put his skills to work. 

But he soon finds that the people Jack worked for may be criminals. In fact, it appears that Jack may have been a personal chef for a criminal family. 

Ryan now finds himself in a perilous position and will have to use his wits to escape this dangerous situation. 

Written and directed by Nicholas Tomnay, the movie stars Nick Stahl, Tamsin Topolski, Penelope Mitchell, and Brian Groh. 

The movie WHAT YOU WISH FOR releases on May 31st.

Russell Crowe is once again starring in an exorcism movie. After playing a Father in The Pope’s Exorcist, the actor will now play…an actor in the upcoming horror movie. 

In The Exorcism, Russell Crowe plays an actor who has gotten a part in a horror movie dealing with exorcism. But when his behavior changes, his estranger daughter begins to wonder if has resumed his addictions or if there is something sinister at play here. 

In the trailer, we do see Russell Crowe dealing with blackouts, and black marks on his body that suggests he may be a victim of possession. 

In the last scene of the trailer, Russell Crowe is seen with black eyes and attacks his daughter. 

Directed by Joshua John Miller, who is also the writer alongside M.A. Fortin, the movie also stars Ryan Simpkins, Sam Worthington, David Hyde Pierce, and Chloe Bailey. 

The Exorcism releases on June 7th.
