Top 10 Moments from The Wrath of Becky

Becky is back and this time she is out for revenge…again.

Following the success of the 2020 film, a sequel for the well-received film was released which has so far been gaining positive reviews.

Here are some Top 10 Moments from THE WRATH OF BECKY (Spoilers Below)

1) Sweet little Becky?

The movie begins with Becky being dropped off at a foster home. She is sweet, kind and is even sporting pigtails. The foster parents are more than impressed and welcome her and her dog, Diego.

Except, all of it is a ruse. Becky runs away from the foster home and it the opening credits we see that she is arrested later for breaking into a pet store to possibly buy food for Diego.

2) The Simple Family Life

Following that, Becky goes through another foster family, only for her to keep escaping until she takes up a job at a diner. She lives with Elena, an elderly woman who picks up hitchikers. She not only brings Becky home but also treats her well.

3) Becky’s secret training

Unable to forget her mother dying in the hospital, or her father being murdered by Neo Nazis, Becky is unable to sleep and spends her time training. She can do flips really well. Clearly, she wants to be prepared for whatever life throws at her.

4) Asking for Trouble

Becky clearly doesn’t care for what people say to her and is sassy. So one day, when a trip of men come in and start making rude comments, she barely lets it rattle her. When one of them, Anthony, is really rude with her, she spills coffee on him. That pisses him off but Becky walks off with a grin and an insincere apology.

5) The Attack

Anthony isn’t in a forgiving mood, despite his friends, DJ and Sean telling him to let it go. They follow Becky and at night, attack her. Diego is knocked out and when Elena comes in with a shotgun to help, she is shot right in the head. Becky does try to pounce on them but she is slammed against the wall and is knocked out.

6) Time for Revenge

Becky awakens and buries Elena while reminiscing about how she had been treated and what kind of friend Elena was to her. When she noticed Diego is missing, she swears revenge and remembers that the trio had been discussing Darryl, and so she searches for him. Fortunately there are only two Darryl’s in the town and one of them is an old woman. She couldn’t be the leader of the trio, now can she?

7) Darryl and the Noble Men

The head, Darryl is part of a fascist organization called the Noble Men. They have plans to take down a senator and have an insurrection at the town hall. Sean has no idea about this and clearly has a weak stomach for violence. Becky spies on them and notices that they have Diego in a cage.

8) The Trap is Set

When Becky learns of their plans, she decides to not only rescue Diego but also stop the Noble Men before the attack the senator. She steals the thumb drive that contains information about the members of the Noble Men, collects some weapons, and sets down traps. She uses Elena’s phone to talk to Darryl and warns him and his men that they messed with the wrong girl.

9) The Violence

Becky isn’t going to forgive the men for what they did to Elena. First, she kills Anthony by putting a grenade in his mouth and tying a string to the door handle so that when Darryl opens the door, bang goes Anthony’s head. Sean is killed by Darryl for abandoning the Noble Men because he didn’t want to kill anyone and only participate in rallies.

Twig is first attacked by a crossbow, then ruthlessly murdered with a machete by Becky because he named his son Adolf.

DJ runs off in a car because he knows he can’t take down a furious Becky.

Darryl manages to throw a dart at Becky that causes her to fall unconscious.

When she awakens, she finds the old woman is actually the head of the organization. When they try to harm Diego, Becky manages to get out of her ties and throw a knife at Darryl’s (the woman), forehead.

Next is Darryl’s turn who ends up stepping on bear traps. Before he dies, he tells Becky, “well done”.

Becky frees Diego but Darryl, the old woman, wakes up. The knife did hit her brain so she is a bad shot. Becky lets Diego attack and eat Darryl.

10) A New Beginning

Becky is lauded by CIA agent Kate Montana for handing over information about the members of the Noble Men as well as taking down a cell. She is given the option to be the youngest recruit of the CIA. Becky takes the job. Kate then tells her if she is ready to find out what the coordinates on the key she found from the first movie, really means.

In the next scene, DJ is busy fixing his car when Becky approaches with a rocket launcher. Off goes DJ and the car.

The Wrath of Becky is an entertaining movie and it shows that anyone can be a hero. You just need to be pissed off enough.
