Horror Movie News: Quick update on Horror movies and TV shows

James Wan is producing a new Horror TV show for Peacock.

The series, titled Teacup, is based on a novel by Robert McCammon's dystopian horror novel called Stinger.

The book is about a small town wracked with all sorts of problems, ranging from racism to gang violence. Things go from bad to worse when an alien spacecraft crashes into their town. A second spacecraft quickly follows, this one belonging to an alien known S Stinger. Clearly, Stinger has an important mission at hand and will go to great lengths to get what he wants.

The teaser for Teacup shows, well, a teacup bearing drawings of a deer who slowly loses its skin.

Clearly, this show isn't going to be for those who have a weak stomach.

The show stars Yvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman.

The show will premiere on Peacock on October 10th.

After two seasons, Shining Vale has been cancelled at Starz network. The show has also been removed from the streaming service.

While the first reason garnered favorable reviews from the critics and audience, the second season was not that well-received, leading to its cancellation despite season 3 scripts apparently being worked on.

The story was about a wife who is a writer. After cheating on her husband, she is given a second chance, and the family moves into a new home.

Once there, the wife gets possessed by a ghost called Rosemary, though no one in the family believes her.

In the second season finale, Pat, played by Courteney Cox, finds out that her husband Terry, played by Greg Kinnear, may be Satan himself and possibly the one who was behind everything that Pat is subjected to throughout the second season.

The show was quirky, although the second season did go off the rails a bit.

The Bioshock movie has been in the work since 2013 but didn't move ahead on Netflix due to budget concerns.

Now, the project is back on track, albeit with a smaller budget.

Bioshock is based on the popular video game of the same name, which was an instant hit and an award winner.

The story was about a man called Jack entering the underwater city called the Rapture. As Jack tries to escape the city, he encounters several enemies and finds out his own personal connection to the underwater world.

The movie may release sometime in 2026.

This Halloween, Simpsons will bring another of its annual Halloween themed episode. The Halloween themed episodes on The Simpsons has been a tradition since the show began, except for the first season.

Treehouse of Horror usually contains 3 stories parodied after popular horror movies. While it remains to be seen which horror movies will be parodied this year, one of them is going to be on Venom.

A poster has already been released showing half of Homer's face covered with denim jeans. This part of the episode will be called Denim.

The story is about Homer finding a pair of jeans that takes on a life of its own.

The episode will release sometime around Halloween this year.
