Horror Movie Spotlight: Voice of Shadows

 

Scatena and Rosner Films has announced the release of gothic horror thriller VOICE OF SHADOWS. This movie marks the debut of Nicholas Bain who has also written the story. 

The story follows a couple, Gabriel (Guillermo Blanco) and Emma (Corrine Mica) who travel to the country. Gabriel is a devout catholic while Emma is about to inherit a large estate. But Emma has to adhere a set of strange rules. It isn’t long before she is pulled into the mysterious cult that is tied to the estate. 

Gabriel must must battle his dark past and find a way to save her and himself before a powerful evil awakens and they are lost forever…

"I wrote Voice of Shadows, not just because I thought it would make a great movie, but mostly because there was something I needed to explore within myself while writing it", said Bain. "Voice of Shadows is a horror-noir about a flawed individual who is up against something much greater than himself. It’s a story about discrimination, class and the responsibility of sacred power."

Alongside Blanco, Mica, and Vang, VOICE OF SHADOWS stars Michael Paul Levin, Martin Harris, and Maria Jose Vargas Agudelo. The film is written, directed and executive produced by Nicholas Bain, produced by Guillermo Blanco, Martin Harris, and Jamie Roberts. Additional executive producers include Nick Breid, Todd R. Johnson, Dan Lehto, and Stephen McGraw.

"From the moment we first discussed the project, and as Nick began crafting the script, I knew we were working on something special", Blanco. "The love and passion we poured into this film, especially in the challenging post-pandemic environment, are reflected in every scene. Voice of Shadows is not just a movie; it’s a testament to our resilience and commitment to storytelling."

Voice of Shadows held its World Premiere at the Twin Cities Film Festival, and went on to hold a successful festival run and winning multiple awards, including Best Feature Film at Romford Horror Festival, Latitude Film Awards, and Bestlov Festival. The film also won Best Visual Effects at Los Angeles Crime and Horror Festival, and had a successful screening at Lit Scares Festival.
