Horror Movie News: Peter Pan causes nightmares in new horror film. The Monster Beneath Us trailer drop.

Remember how Peter Pan was known to be a free-spirited boy who could fly and who never grew up? Not only that, he used to live on an island called Neverland where there were other children as well as pirates, mermaids, and fairies. 

Well, all of that magical childhood stuff is getting the horror treatment. 

In Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, we see that the boy we used to look up to in the stories, is now a creep who beckons little children, from under the floorboards. 

In the trailer, we see Peter Pan use one of IT’s tactics to lure a young boy to him. The boy ends up being a photo in a missing poster. There are plenty of kids in town and we see a man steal a mask from the costume shop. When the vendor asks him to pay for it, Peter Pan stabs him. 

We see Peter Pan stab a lot of people. Apparently, he is angry that he grew up. At one point in the trailer, we see him get into a bus of kids and ask them if they want to go to Neverland. All the kids scream and run about. 

If only this Peter Pan could fly and was nicer, the kids would not be screaming at him. 

He then ends up taking a boy called Michael and asks if he would like to never grow up. Wendy, Michael’s sister, is more than determined to rescue her brother. But will she be able to do so on time? 

Peter Pan resumes his killing spree and we can expect to see a lot of blood and dismemberment. After all, it is the same team behind Winnie-the Pooh: Blood and Honey. 

The movie will be released in theatres only on the 13th, 14th, and 15th January 2025. 

In other news, there may be monsters in the new house you are moving into. 

In the year 1898, a grieving woman, Grace, moves into a house with her son Charles. The son finds something, or rather, someone in the basement. 

In the trailer, we find a man confronting someone with a gun. It is later revealed that he died and so his wife and son come to live in that house. The son later claims to have found a friend in the basement but his mother is skeptical until she sees the scratches on his arms. 

She then deduces that something evil is residing in the house. She now has to find a way to save her son and destroy the evil in the house. From what we can see in the trailer, the entity is a sharply-clawed monster. 

The movie stars Beca Hirani, Marshall Hawkes, and Nicola Wright. 

The Monsters Beneath Us will be released on January 3rd, 2025.
