Max's latest original film, The Parenting, makes meeting the parents even more challenging, considering there's a ghost involved.
This horror comedy is about a young couple who plan a weekend getaway to the countryside to introduce their parents to each other.
Tensions arise between the parents that take a terrifying turn when they realize that the rental house they are staying in is haunted by a 400-year-old Poltergeist.
Soon after, one of the family members becomes possessed.
Based on the newly released poster, it is the dog that has red, glowing eyes. Is the dog the one who gets possessed?
The movie combines concepts from Meet the Parents and horror movies where haunting is the centre plot.
The young couple is played by Nik Dodani and Brandon Flynn. The show has an impressive star cast including Brian Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Edie Falco, Dean Norris, Parker Posey, and Vivian Bang.
The film is written by Kent Sublette and directed by Craig Johnson.
