Vash Level 2 (2025)--My Take On The Horror Movie With Spoilers!
Plot: Twelve years after Aarya was enslaved by dark magic, a series of events in a girls' school causes Atharva to suspect Pratap is behind it all.
Quick Movie Review
Vash Level 2 is deeply unsettling, especially the first half. It keeps you on the edge of your seat as it delivers horrific and catastrophic sequences that are elevated by excellent performances by the entire cast.
More importantly, even though not many may have seen the original, owing to its limited release, Vash Level 2 is dependable in its aim to invite new viewers to immerse themselves in its horror.
Vash Level 2 Plot with Ending Spoilers
Twelve years has passed since Aarya was used as a puppet by a demonic man, Pratap, to do his bidding. Atharva, desperate to save his daughter, had resorted to stabbing his daughter’s ears with scissors so that she can no longer hear Pratap’s instructions. Atharva had torn off Pratap’s tongue and kept him prisoner in his house.
Aarya has never fully recovered from the incident and is in a catatonic state, smiling all the time. Atharva has to do everything for her.
On the other side of the city, we meet the girls who are going off to school. Some are anxious about their tests, some are victims of bullying. During lunch, the girls are polishing off their plates when they begin to feel off.
Moments later, they are performing actions that don’t seem under their control.
In a disturbing sequence, we see ten girls standing on the edge of the roof, begging teachers not to help them or they will have to jump. One of the teachers figures out that the girls are following the instructions of a man, but she does not find out who.
A security guard goes to save one of the girls, but she jumps off. Another girl announces that it is 3 PM and they must all jump. The teacher watches helplessly as the girls jump to their deaths.
As there was enough time before they jumped, one cannot help but wonder if they could have tried to cushion the fall in some way. The girls were instructed to jump. Not die.
Anyway, there is a huge commotion, and the incident is covered by news reporters. Atharva immediately goes to Pratap and demands to know if he is behind this incident. Pratap cannot speak and looks afraid.
As the police come in for questioning, one of the girls informs the lead officer that they need to find Pratap, or the worst thing imaginable would occur. After delivering the message, some of the girls go off on a rampage, killing or beating up everyone on sight.
The scene was reminiscent of the climax in Weapons when the kids who were under Aunt Gladys' spell break free and attack her.
We see disturbing and violent scenes before Atharva finally arrives at the school and tells the officer he knows where Pratap is.
Now, right before he leaves his home, Atharva had placed boxes around Aarya, and we will learn only in the second half what they actually are. The girl who was supposed to deliver messages is stupefied, and Atharva is gentle with her as he realizes she isn’t really under her control.
In a crowd of parents, teachers, and police officers, Atharva deduces that the puppeteer is nearby and that he would not have gone far from the scene of the crime.
Rajnath shows himself. He is Pratap’s brother and wants to know where he is. He is impressed that Atharva managed to subdue his powerful brother.
Rajnath wastes no time showing off his own powers by instructing the girls to shoot their crying parents and the police officer.
Atharva barely flinches, having dealt with all this personally in the first movie.
He agrees to take Rajnath with him. On the bus, Rajnath admits he decided to look for his brother after so many years only because he wanted to gain more powers like him. Atharva is helping him only because Rajnath has promised to remove the spell from his daughter.
On the way, Rajnath calls a girl under the spell to come join them in the bus. But as he is coughing, she hesitates before running off in the other direction.
Atharva takes him home and demands that he help Aarya. Rajnath then announces an infuriating bit of information. Turns out Aarya is not under Pratap’s mind control spell. Rajnath explains that mind control only works temporarily and can easily be wiped out when the victim goes far from the person who put a spell on them.
Rajnath explains that Atharva is under Pratap’s debt, which is why Aarya is still in this state. Atharva remembers the tea Pratap bought him twelve years ago. He awakens Pratap and hands him the 10 rupees for the tea.
After a lot of crying, Aarya finally calls out to him.
Ten rupees. All Atharva had to do was return the debt instead of suffering for twelve years. But of course, he had no idea that would reverse the spell.
Rajnath removes the chains from around Pratap but when he realizes his brother doesn’t have a tongue, he gets enraged and attacks Atharva.
To defend himself, Atharva plugs in his ears and switches on the speakers he had brought. The speakers emit a piercing sound that causes everyone to collapse.
Atharva takes this opportunity to remove Rajnath’s tongue as well.
Later, the girls were returned to their parents. The teacher and police officer, who fortunately survived, visit Atharva. He tells them that it is better that these demonic men are in his house rather than outside in the world, where they can cause harm.
They all agree to let them stay at Atharva’s house.
Later, Atharva keeps a mug near Aarya and sits afar from Aarya. He watches with immense relief as Aarya, who cannot hear, is finally able to move on her own and pick up the mug to drink her own tea.
The movie ends.
My Take on the Movie
Vash Level 2 can be a little disturbing, especially as the first half unfolds. It can also be frustrating when you watch the entire school staff watching the girls fall to their deaths rather than finding a way to save them. Use a net, a blanket, cushions, pillows, or call the police on time rather than wait.
But then the movie wouldn’t have hit so hard that you had to keep watching to know who dared prey on these innocent girls.
The story has a few hiccups, and the main villain isn’t as terrifying as he should have been. There’s a part in the movie when he coughs, and a girl disobeys him. That little plot device could have been used to enhance the story.
Nevertheless, Vash Level 2 is a solid horror movie, and of course, the acting, even by the supporting cast, is excellent.
