Remember in 2016 a riveting horror movie, Don't Breathe was released? Remember how good it was?
The twist with the old blind man?
Turns out, when a group of robbers break into the old blind man's house expecting some easy money, they didn't expect their plans to be thwarted by the ugly and dangerous secrets.
The blind old man isn't as helpless as everyone thought; he was a cold-blooded killer. Worse, he has a woman tied up in his basement and plans to impregnate her with his sperm because his daughter was killed by that woman in an accident. But because she was found by the robbers, the blind man kills her and then has another woman (one of the robbers) take her place.
Of course, she is saved and manages to get away from the blind old man whom she thinks she killed only to see later in the news he survived.
And now what does he intend to do?
Feature in a sequel of course.
The Don't Breathe 2 trailer is out and we pretty much get to see the entire movie in it. The Blind old man is living a quiet existence but people refuse to leave him alone, particularly a little girl who befriends him then gets kidnapped and needs saving. This time the blind old man is a saviour and even though the robbers (who seem to know what he actually is) burn his house down and supposedly captures him, they don't realize that the blind old man has daredevil-type abilities.
So yeah, he kills all of them and probably saves the girl in the end.
What would be interesting to see is that somewhere near the end, it turns out the Blind Old Man was actually searching for Rocky, the woman who escaped him in the first part and is pretending to be a good guy.
